About me

Professor Marlon Wesley Machado Cunico, PhD in Mechanical Engineering, has accumulated more than 15 years of experience in Industry, research and innovation. 

For more than 15 years, he has been researching vanguard fields, such as additive manufacturing (AM) technologies and industry 4.0, where he won the international award of outstanding Doctoral Research from Garpa/Emerald, won the BRICS Young Innovator Prize 2023 and obtaining 2 post doctorates.

During his career, he has filled eight patents in addition to generating classified innovation in industry. His interdisciplinary approach led to the development of cutting-edge technologies in mechanics, robotic and industrial engineering.  It is also possible to highlight his involvement in several industries, such as white-goods, automotive, agriculture, medical manufacturing, mining and high precision machines.

Marlon is  engineer, entrepreneur, author and musician, having as hobby: Coffee making, travelling, and product design.
